Baronet Percival Phinkerlington (Sir Percival) is a character in The Curious Case. He is the older brother of Leticia Phinkerlington (AKA Tarabotti AKA Loontwill), younger brother of Eustace Phinkerlington, uncle of Alexia Tarabotti (AKA Maccon), father of Everard Phinkerlington, and grandfather of Aggie Phinkerlington. He inherited the title when his older brother gave it up. “Eustace tossed the title over. Gave it up to become claviger to some toothy old fluff of a lone werewolf.” (see Curious Case)

History[]
He was acquainted with Alessandro Tarabotti through his older brother, Eustace. Eustace went to Oxford with Alessandro and was briefly Alessandro's lover.
He has a son, Everard Phinkerlington, who appears in Blameless as a BUR agent, junior clerk, aethographic transmission specialist second class. Everard did not inherit the title as his father's behavior in Egypt was used as an excuse to strip the family of the Barony. He is never referred to as Sir Everard.

The Curious Case[]
In 1838 Sir Percival travels to Egypt, supposedly for his sister Leticia's health, but actually on a mission from the Crown. He runs into Alessandro in the streets, and introduces Leticia. That evening, Percival discovers Alessandro and the werejackle mummy and Alessandro kills him to prevent England from learning about non-wolf shapeshifters. Upon his death he requests that Alessandro see his sister home safely to England.
