Minnie

Minnie is a character in How to Marry a Werewolf (In 10 Easy Steps). She is Faith's lady's maid.

Personality

She enjoys sewing and has taken on sewing work to make herself extra money, aside from her work as a maid.

History

Minnie's father died fighting in for the Union in America's Civil War. He was found with his neck punctured and body drained of blood, presumably killed by a vampire, which left Minnie with no one but herself to rely on. Due to this, Minnie was forced to find work and came to be employed by the Wigglesworth family.

How to Marry a Werewolf (In 10 Easy Steps)

Faith traveled to visit her cousin Teddy for the London Season, which she took in order to escape her poor reputation in America and find herself a werewolf husband on her parents' orders. Minnie accompanied her as her only chaperone aboard the Flotty, but the Wigglesworths had given her another task in London. She was ordered to deliver a set of Sundowner bullets to an anti-vampire contact of Mr. Wigglesworth.

On their disembarkment in London, they were stopped and searched by BUR, lead by Channing Channing, who suspected the bullets of entering the country illegally. The smuggled bullets were missed, partly due to Channing and Faith's argument over the search. Once at the Iftercasts, it became apparent Faith needed a new wardrobe more than she needed a lady's maid, so Minnie went to work with Miss Cordelia Honeybun to ensure her gowns would be finished in time.

Rather than deliver the bullets, Minnie decided to sell them off herself, in order to get enough money to emigrate to Europe and start her own dress shop. She found it too difficult to find a buyer, however, and was still in possession of them when Mr. Wigglesworth came to London and found her at the modiste. Minnie was attacked by Mr. Wigglesworth, leaving her with a black eye before law enforcement was summoned and chased him away.

Minnie was afraid of being attacked again and confessed her past and the truth about the attack to Faith upon returning to the Iftercast home, who comforted her and agreed to help. Faith brought Minnie to the London Pack's manor in Greenwich, but when Biffy, Lyall, and Channing entered in wolf form, she was terrified. After handing the bag of Sundowner bullets to Faith, Minnie fled the manor and did not return.
